Many groups have recently asked KTBA what actions should be taken to plan a great benefit auction given current economic factors.  KTBA is offering this Creative Session as an opportuity to meet with other auction committee members to discuss what works best right now for benefit auctions.

Kip will share ideas KTBA has implemented in the past weeks and months that have been very successful.  The goal is for all upcoming auctions to be very successful and to share the best creative ideas around!

Auction Idea:  Trade an Item
Trading an item with another auction is an easy way
of increasing revenue at both acutions.

  • Select an item you can easily obtain (a beach house owned by a constituent) or
  • Select an item common for your guests (a bed and breakfast down the street) then
  • Trade the item with another auction for something new and exciting for your auction!

A KTBA auction has offered to trade a ride in a hydroplane - over 100 mph - for equivalent item(s) from other benefit auctions.
