KTBA Auction Sells Out the House to Generous Guests
By: Kip Toner ~
A KTBA client fine art auction this weekend drew a sell out crowd of 700 guests who enthusiastically bid on masterfully crafted art pieces to benefit local art programs and students. The art patrons’ generosity was especially evident in their gifts to the Fund An Item™ cause, collectively raising $80K in straight donations when presented with a goal of $50K, exceeding the goal by 60%!
The Kip Toner Benefit Auctions team recognizes that maintaining attendance and cultivating constituency is one of the foremost concerns for many benefit auctions. Nevertheless, this weekend proved that it is still possible to increase attendance, filling the house with guests eager to give generously to a well presented cause. Such a success requires the incorporation of a few simple strategies and new ideas, which KTBA would welcome the opportunity to share with you on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at our next Creative Session at the Harbor Club in Bellevue.
